December!!

So we had a fun and busy December as most everyone did! We enjoyed Christmas festivities and then spent a week at my parents for Christmas and New Year's while our house was painted on the main and upper floors. We love all the colors we picked!! Savanna also turned 7 on the 22nd! Can't believe she's that old. Here's some pictures. They got out of order and I'll try to have a description for some of them.

Christmas!!! We came down to my parents late Christmas Eve night. The kids had a blast opening all their presents, hanging out with family, playing with their new toys, enjoying pot roast for Christmas dinner and Savanna played in the snow.  Here's some fun pictures. I realized I took all the pictures though so there isn't any of me. My cousin, Debbie, took some though.  I was spoiled with a new shark mop, crock pot, vegetable chopper, earrings, ornament, and a nice jacket among other things. TC got a genetic test and some new shirts. The kids got a trampoline from Santa (a smaller one that will go in our basement when it's finished) and some games from Santa. Savanna alos got an Anna doll, some clothes, earrings, games, etc. Clark got a Ninja turtle chair, basketball hoop, books, games, video, etc. Linnea got clothes and about 7 new stuff animals and a car to drive around in. We were spoiled and very grateful and hope our family liked the gifts we got them too.

Some pictures from other days at my parents. My dad made the kids Mickey Mouse pancakes several mornings. They loved them!
Fun with my cousin, Michael. My kids love Michael!

Enjoying some hot chocolate after playing in the snow.

Savanna's birthday!-On her birthday Savanna wanted to hang out in the morning, then we ate at Olive Garden for lunch, she picked out a present from her grandparents at the store watched a movie in the afternoon and then had pizza, cake and opened presents with my family that night.

Christmas Eve-I took Savanna and Clark ice skating. Savanna's been taking ice skating lessons  and she loves it! Then we hosted Christmas Eve dinner that night-We had ham, potatoes, green been casserole, salad, rolls, and sparking cider. Then we acted out the Christmas story, sang Christmas carols, watched some short videos on the Christmas story and read 'Twas the Night before Christmas."

My Birthday and Thanksgiving

So we had a busy and fun last couple of weeks. I had my birthday this month and had a good day. TC and I were able to go out on a date to the Cheesecake Factory and a play at Pioneer Theater. This is the first year in awhile I didn't do some type of party or get together. I'm starting to feel too old for that!! Then we went to Idaho to spend Thanksgiving with TC's family. We had a great time and were also able to meet our brand new niece/cousin, Annabelle. The kids loved playing with their cousins and Savanna started crying Saturday afternoon thinking about leaving them and was crying really hard when we first left Sunday. She's so sweet. I was that sentimental as a child as well. Here are some fun pictures from the last couple of weeks!

Here's the one picture I got from TC's and I's birthday date. It's really grainy though. We went to the Cheesecake Factory, City Creek, and to a show. We had a lot of fun.

Thanksgiving Fun
Playing with cousins. Clark especially loved being sweet and taking care of his cousin, Hurley. She is about 3 months younger than Linnea.
Linnea and Hurley hanging out with Grandpa

The kids loved playing in TC's sister, Marisha's, big back yard. One of their favorite things to do was play in the trees. Here Savanna climbed a tree and said "Mom take my picture!"
Hurley and Linnea chilling in the swing.
Grandpa swinging Linnea.
Cousins all loved eating together in the kid table. From the left side, front to back-Hurley, Clark,Addie,Lexi, Sariah (on Lexi's lap),Savanna, and Kaytlin
Playing some Twister
Linnea chilling by herself for a few minutes.
We did a gift exchange Thanksgiving evening. Clark and Savanna loved opening up presents.
The whole group-I'm going to pass naming everyone. We also had a couple cousins come for Thanksgiving dinner as well.
Musuem of Clean-This was a cool place. This guy who is a self made millionaire from running a cleaning company is now 80 and retired and has a museum of all this stuff that has to do with cleaning. He has toilets of famous people, a bunch of vacuums, soap, etc. The owner gave us our own personal tour. It was a fun place.

Savanna and Lexi at the Museum of Idaho. I'll be honest this museum was overpriced and a bit of a disappointment. I usually am not too picky with places like this but just were hoping for more with the price. Oh well.
