Kids Quotes

I haven't done one of these in awhile. I love the cute things these kids say! Here's some recent fun ones.

Savanna

  • "Mom we don't get our craftiness from you. We get that from Dad but we have your personality."
  • "Mommy one of your talents is making friends."
  • Me: "Clark is their silliness in your vitamins?" Savanna: "I've tried his vitamins before and I don't act like him. Maybe that's just the personality Jesus gave him!"
  • "Mommy one day I will get married. You know I will right?"
  • (After her friend moved ) "Mommy will Sadie ever move? (Sadie's her best friend) I hope she never moves.
Clark

  • (While having a Gospel discussion) "Mommy is Papa's mom resurrected yet?"
  • (During his prayer-we are working on his reverence during his prayers) "Please bless me to poop tomorrow."
  • (During another prayer) "Please bless me to wear my ninja turtle costume tomorrow."
  • "I love myself because I am proud of myself."
  • "Mommy in preschool when we sing Skindarinky Dinky and it says I love you I always point at Sadie and she always points at me." (Sadie's a little girl in his class he has a big crush on.
  • (Coming towards him with a contraption he made) "Daddy will you please put fire in this so I look like I'm from Big Hero 6?"
Linnea
  • (Outside the temple) Me: "This is Jesus's house." Linnea: "Jesus! I want to go in. I want to see Jesus."
  • (After walking out of Jc Penney and it smelled yucky) "It is Clark's poop poops."
  • "You are not Clark's mommy!" Me: "How is his Mommy then?" Linnea: "Uh...TC"
  • "Cricket bit me like this. (She pretended to bite her finger.) That not happen again. I will pet her and not hit."
  • "Nana and Papa are in Florida."
  • "I passed gas."
  • (While I was gone TC was trying to read stories and Linnea wanted me. She's been extra attached lately.)  TC: "Why can't I just read you stories?" Linnea:"Because I love Mommy!"
  • "Mommy I go preschool. I say Bye Mommy!"

Rest of March

The rest of March just flew by and it's hard to keep up with everything. So here's what we've been up to the last couple of weeks. We've really loved having Savanna off track. She goes back to school next week and were sad!

Clark and Linnea helping Daddy cook. Looks like they're doing more eating than cooking!

St. Patrick's Day! A leprecaun came and left some gold! We also had a green dinner.
The piano I grew up playing also came on St. Patrick's Day! We have been loving having this piano!

We said goodbye to some good friends who moved to Boston. They come to the play group we go to so we had a little goodbye cake and farewell for them. We wish them the best of luck!

Savanna has really been into her face painting lately. Clark and Linnea love to have their faces painted. (We got Savanna an at home kit .) Here Clark is a pirate and Linnea is a tulip.

We went to an Easter egg hunt/festival this past Saturday at a farm near our house. The kids had a great time.

The kids wore their Easter outfits this past Sunday to church since next Sunday is conference. Here they are in their cute Easter outfits. Love them!

The Last few weeks

Here's an update on the last few weeks. TC had a birthday. He went skiing the weekend before with his siblings to celebrate so that night we just did cake, ice cream and TC's brother, James, watched the kids while TC and I went to the temple and to a movie. We saw Mcfarlan. So good!

We got the trampoline set up and the kids love it! Also Savanna is off track the rest of this month and it's been a lot of fun being able to spend more time with her!
We watched TC's sister, Kristin's, four girls this past weekend from Friday night to Sunday and our kids had a blast with their cousins. They had a pizza, pajama, popcorn, movie night, played on the trampoline and the basement a lot, fed the ducks and went to the park. We sure love having their family closer now! Idaho is much closer than Alaska!

Finished Basement and Front Room!

YEAH OUR BASEMENT IS FINISHED! THE Kids are loving it and are so excited for it to be a fun play area. We also put wood in our front room and are waiting for the piano I practiced on growing up to be shipped here along with some Madame Alexander dolls so I'm excited for that to be a pretty, fancy room. Here are some pictures. We still need to do decorating in the basement and put up the trampoline Santa got for Christmas and the kids are saving up for a Ikea swing and punching bag so I'll have to do some more pictures when we get that stuff up plus when the piano gets here! We are so grateful to live in our home and in this neighborhood! We absolutely love it here!

Front Room: Before the hard wood went in
Clark and Linnea dressed up and playing in the basement
Putting on a show on the stage

Kids enjoying the basement
Another one not of the basement, Savanna's been really into her face painting kit she got recently and I just love this picture of them all sitting next to each other with their faces painted enjoying some pizza.
Our cool half door down to the basement-You can open just the top if you just want to listen to what's going on downstairs
Heading down the stairs
Play area for active play-basketball hoop, put up the trampoline soon, Ikea swing and punching bag

Stage to perform shows

Toy room area (Clark nees to clean up his legos.)

Closet in the toy room-Love having a closet to keep a lot of the toys!
Play house to under the stairs (This was Savanna's idea to pick colors that looked like the outside of our house.)
Underneath the stairs (We want to put Disney wallpaper under here.)

Finished Bedroom-We still need to put our guest bed in there. Savanna picked out the color in this room because eventually it may be her room.
