Well today I took Savanna to the doctor because she had a slightly elevated temperature the night before. Anyway, everything looks fine she just seems to work through this cold of hers. But I did get a weight on her-16 pounds. She is in the 95th percentile. Hence the reason she has earned her nickname I made for her, "Little Chubs!" I've always wanted a chubby baby and think she is the cutest litle/big baby in the world!
Okay, sorry we are slow at keeping up our blog. Life is very busy with a baby and sometimes it feels I do everything just to keep up with the essentials. I am sure that I will get better at it hopefully! Well anyway, TC and I have finally selected some of our favorite pictures (which are in roughly chronological order) of Savanna to put up on our blog so hope you enjoy. Some of these pictures include her blessing day, on March 2nd, which was a very special day for us and thanks to everyone that was able to attend this wonderful occasion! We had a great time with family. All of the Perrys (minus John and Lexi Youngberg) were here to celebrate April's wedding to George Gallagher, the newest member of the family and Savanna's blessing. The Lakes (Ashley's family) were also all here along with Michael and Vincent Greco who came down (Debbie and Jaslyn were home because Jaslyn had a sore throat, bummer, but they came the next weekend once Jaslyn was better). We also had other wonderful family members and friends present. It was so much fun to spend time with family. My mom was able to stay for two weeks and we had a great time. So life has been busy. We are still not sure what our plans are for the fall. TC is still working at Myriad Genetics and I work at the Adoption Center of Choice just for 8 hours a week. When we are not doing that, we love playing with our beautiful daughter! She is doing well, though she seems to have contracted her first cold so of course her mother being the worrywart she is has been a little tense. She seems to be doing okay-just congested and has a bit of a cough. We will let you know how she is doing!
TC grew up in Washington and Ashley grew up in Southern Florida. TC is the oldest and has three sisters and one brother. Ashley is the oldest and has two younger brothers. Both attended Brigham Young University-Ashley majoring in Psychology and TC in Biotechnology. Ashley received a Master's degree from the University of Utah in Social Work. Both enjoy bowling, tennis, racquetball, and watching movies. They also like music and both play the piano and sing. They enjoy spending time with friends and family.
