Update to Kindermusik Info

So new change of information on this class. My instructor is now offering the class half off-$90(can be paid in three payments of $30). The class also goes to the beginning of May so I wanted to clarify that. I also failed to mention that this particular class is only for infants up to 18 months old. Anyone who is interested that has an older child can contact me and I'll give you more information about other classes offered. Again, I am usually not one to advertise but this is a great opportunity for all those who would like to expose their children to music and bond with them in a great way! Thanks!

Kindermusik

Hi I just wanted to advertise a unique and neat experience for those moms out there with young children or babies. Since last September, Savanna and I have been attending a program called Kindermusik. I have mentioned it in previous blogs and some of you may have already heard of it. It is a nation wide music program taught by individual licensed instructors in towns throughout the United States. We have been going to a class in Orem and love our instructor. We would really like to continue this class with her. Unfortunately, this semester (January-April) she has not had as much interest in the class as previously and was hoping that those of us that have already taken the class can find others that may be interested. She is offering the class for a discounted price-as low as $35 a month and no higher than $47 a month. This classs is also a great deal this semester because she is combining two separate classes into one so you are getting twice the benefit for half the price! The class involves dancing, playing musical instruments, learning sign language while singing, aerobic exercises with music, and playing fun games interacting with other babies and their moms. The cost per month includes two c.d.s, two books, and a couple toys. The class is going to be held this semester every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. I woul love to carpool with anyone interested. Please, if you think you may be interested in this opportunity please let me know. You can make a comment on my blog or if you have my other information call or e-mail me! Thanks so much!

California Trip

So TC and I went to California this weekend for an interview at an optometry school there. We stayed with our friends-Jake, Grace, and Evie and had a great time. We were able to take a trip to Disneyland which was so much fun. We went to CA Adventures and the main Disneyland park. It was great because there was three of us(and Jake went us later in the evening) we were able to ride all the adult rides. I love the Tower of Terror, the roller coaster, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain. Everything! I just love amusement parks and especially anything to do with Disney!! Savanna had a good time. We took her on all the rides she could go on. She had a great time in Fantasy Land though she hated the carousel for some reason. (You would think the witch in Snow White would be scarier!) Anyway, the rest of the weekend we spent hanging out playing games, talking and playing with the babies. We came back Monday.
TC was not accepted into this school which was the only one he applied to so we have decided to stay here at his current job. We were most likely going to make this decision anyway so we are not too upset. We feel confident about TC's future at his current job. We are planning on moving closer to his job sometime in the future. Here are some pictures of the trip.
Fun at Disney Land(well most of the time!)
The girls were worn out after the long day!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas and enjoyed spending the holidays with my family. My parents, my two brothers, my cousin and his wife and two kids, and my aunt were all here for the holidays. We had a great time. Here are pictures of the highlights.
We took Savanna to see Santa and ride the train. She enjoyed the train but was not very impressed with Santa.

Savanna in her cute dress the Sunday before Christmas

My family acted out the nativity on Christmas Eve. TC, Savanna and I were the stars as Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus.
Christmas morning: Savanna loved all the toys she got for Christmas!

Savanna's birthday pictures

So there is a lot to blog and update you on and sorry it has been a little while. I will separate the information into several different posts. I will start with the promised pictures of Savanna's birthday. She had a great day and also a fun following day when she was able to open up presents.
We had a fun night taking Savanna to Jump On It for her birthday. She loved it!

Opening presents and cake

Still not very crazy about the cake!
