It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

So we have been getting into the holiday spirit here. We went to the Festival of Trees on Saturday night which was awesome as usual. I would highly recommend going for those of you that have never seen it and all the admissions fees and money from the trees that are auctioned off go to charity. There are trees of all different types of themes. Savanna especially loved the Toy Story tree (She is obsessed with Toy Story right now!) and the Winnie the Pooh tree. There were also shows playing and some bag pipe players played which was cool to watch. Sunday we got our Christmas tree up and all our decorations. Tuesday night TC and I went and saw White Christmas through the Pioneer Theater Company (we have season tickets-we got really discounted ones through TC's work.) It was great! Then yesterday we took Savanna and Clark to see Santa Claus at the mall and it was quite comical. Savanna said she wanted to see Savanna but apparently changed her mind once it was her turn. She literally ran away from him in the other direction out of the Santa Land yelling, "No! No! I do not want to see Santa!' She was headed towards a department store when I caught her and told her she didn't need to see Santa but could get a candy cane. She let me carry her back through the exit and sat in the stroller. Santa tried to talk to her and she put the shade of the stroller in front of her face so he could not see her. She did manage to tell him that she loves Woody and Buzz Light Year. It was funny but Savanna is a little too scared of strangers right now. Hopefully she will grow out of it! Well here are some pictures of our Christmas activities!

Clark-8 months

So Clark is now eight months old as of Monday. I know I have said this before but time really does go faster with a second. I can't believe Clark is closer to a year than birth. That is just crazy! Anyway, Clark is doing great and we love him more than ever. He is rolling all over the place but not crawling quite yet but seems close! He is moving backwards right now when he tries to move instead of forward. TC has predicted that he will crawl before New Year's Day so we will see if he is right. He predicted that Savanna would crawl before Halloween and walk before her 1st birthday and he was right on both occasions. (It's funny she did not crawl until she was 10.5 months and then walked at 11.5 months so she only crawled for a month of her life.) Clark is still in love with his food and his blanket. (He has to sleep with a blanket which makes me nervous but we use a light one). Clark still loves to grab everything in sight and jump in his jumper. He loves our phones-what is it with kids and electronics? He loves to be with his family and being held. What a fun little guy!

Thanksgiving

So I'm finally getting around to posting about our Thanksgiving trip. We had a wonderful time spending a week and a half with TC's family in Washington. It was wonderful because the whole family was able to be together except for TC's brother, James, who is on a mission. We got a ton of snow up there which was pretty though the roads were not great driving through the mountain passes on the way home but we made it home safely. We enjoyed playing a lot of games, going to a few movies, playing Rock Band with TC's cousin and her boyfriend, shopping (we went to the Black Friday sale at midnight at Wal Mart. It wasn't too bad. We got great deals on kids' pajamas!), eating A LOT, going to Chuck e Cheese, Olive Garden, Shari's, and throwing a bridal shower for Marisha. The highlight though was being able to be there when Marisha went through the temple. What a great experience that was! We are so excited for her upcoming marriage. It is right around the corner! The kids had a fun time and it was great for Savanna to be with her cousins, Lexi and Kaytlin. Here are some pictures from our trip. I realized I am not in any of them. I guess I took them all.
