Visit from Grandma and Grandpa

TC's parents came a couple of weeks ago to meet Linnea and we had a great time with them! Here are some fun pictures! I am behind on blogging too. I need to post more but it's been kind of crazy. We are blessing Linnea this weekend too so there will be a lot more pictures to come!

Kids' Quotes

I haven't posted the funny things the kids have said lately and I really want to keep up with them. Here are a few I can think of.

Savanna

  • "I love that little Linnea. I just want to squish those baby cheeks!"
  • "We are a family! I am the big sister and I have a little brother and a little sister."
  • "Linnea's the cutest little baby girl ever!"
  • "This is the best day ever!"
  • (To my friend Candace) "I was the smallest when I was born, Clark was next and then Linnea was the biggest."
  • (To Clark) "Linnea's going to be so much fun when she grows up. She'll get bigger and bigger and she'll play with toys!"
  • (To me the first day I didn't have help) "Mommy I'm going to make you breakfast because you are on your own with the baby."
As you can see she love her baby sister!

Clark
  • (To Linnea in the hospital) "You better go to sleep. Lightning Mcqueen is outside."
  • "Daddy will you get the baby's eyes open."
  • "I'm a big brother now so I am not a kid anymore."
  • (About the baby) "She likes me!"
  • (To Linnea) "Hi cutie! Hi sweetie! Hi precious!"
  • (When Linnea was crying) "It's ok. I'm here. It's ok!"
  • (While holding Linnea) "She's going to start crying and looking for milk and I'll say I can't feed you. I'm not a mommy!"

As you can see our world is revolving a lot around our little Linnea right now. Love those kids!

Update

Here some more pictures. We have been hanging out mostly at the house with our little Linnea and we have enjoyed some visits from family and friends. My mom was here for 3 weeks and my dad came in for a day and then my good friend Candace and her daughter, Carlie, came from Texas. TC's parents are also coming this weekend and we are excited to see them. Here are some more pictures. Enjoy!

Linnea Update

So a lot of people have been asking to see more pictures of Linnea so I decided to finally put some up and give a little update on her. Linnea is doing well and we love her so much! She is a really cute baby and generally happy. She has periods where she is really awake during the day and can stay up for awhile. She is happy and then will get a little fussy when she is tired and we will have to rock her for a few minutes and then she will go to sleep. The kids are loving her and want to be near her whenever they can. I was worried that Clark would have a lot of jealousy issues with her but so far he is doing really well. She is eating well also and peeing and pooping like crazy. I forget how much they do that in the beginning! She is just a little sweetheart! Here are some pictures. A lot of people have been asking about seeing more pictures of her. Enjoy!

Clark update-2 years 9.5 months

So Mr. Clark is growing up. Clark's big accomplishment is he is now potty trained during the day. He is even waking up with dry diapers about half the time. He still has an occasional accident here and there but overall is doing very well. He always wants us to help him go to the bathroom though so it still seems like as much work as diapers.
Clark continues to like going to gym class though we probably will take a break from that for a bit after the baby's born. He also started taking a music class in January which he is seems to be enjoying though he is very serious during it and always wants to stay by me. (Both gym and music are a parent/child class.)
Clark loves to play with his cars, watch movies, eat, pretend, and do whatever Savanna is doing. Recently he has been into talking about dragons and how they are going to get us. He loves to race through the house like Lightning Mcqueen saying "Kachow!" or Show time!"
We love our little man! He's so much fun to have around. Here are some of this favorite things.
Favorite color: GREEN! (Seriously he colors everything green, always wants the green balls or bells at gym class. He really likes green!)
Favorite food: Cantaloupe! (He goes crazy for it.)
Favorite movie: Cars
Favorite song: Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam
Best friend: Savanna
