Savanna Update-almost 34 months

So Savanna is getting more and more grown up every day. As mentioned before the big event for her this month was getting her ear tubes. She did so great with her surgery. She acted like the same silly Savanna all day. Savanna has been enjoying her play groups, music class and gym class that we do together. She also loves going to the playground and swinging on the swings mostly. Savanna's favorite thing in the world though is her books. She loves to "read" her books. She will read herself to sleep for her naps and at bedtime and many other times throughout the day. Actually she can read a few words that we have taught her (some being names of family members). These words include: TC, Ashley, Clark, April, Savanna, up, truck, red, and bed. Savanna loves her little brother, Clark, and is a good big sister to him. She is a lot more gentle with him than she used to be. She will hug him and say, "Hello little guy." "He's so cute." etc. Savanna talks up a storm. We love listening to her. She talks in full sentences, complete thoughts, etc. She also is now night potty trained as well and stays dry all night long. She can go to the bathroom and wash her hands all by herself. It is amazing how grown up she is getting. Here are a list of some funny things that she has said this past month. I just love to document them for myself but thought you would enjoy them as well. 1. Talking about a woman she saw: "Mommy, she is an old lady." 2. "Mommy, you are a sweet girl with two kids." 3. To her grandma in the hot tub last weekend, Savanna: "Grandma, do you like the hot pool?" Grandma: "Yes I do." Savanna: "May I pee in it?" 4.Talking about April's dog Me: "Savanna you love Cricket huh? He's so cute." Savanna: "Mommy, Cricket is not a boy. She's a GIRL!" 5. talking about a friend's baby named Paisley (who is several months younger than Clark) "Mommy, Paisley is really little. Clark is not really little. He is BIG. He is a BIG BOY!" I'm sure there are more but here are a couple cute pictures of her this month. How we love our sweet Savanna!

Savanna insisted on sitting and waiting for TC to come home one afternoon. (She knew he was coming home in about 10 minutes). She adores her daddy!

I asked Savanna to entertain Clark one morning while I was finishing up getting ready. I guess to her this meant getting about every toy he owned out of his room. It was too cute not to take a picture of though.
