Hayden family visit

One of my best friends, Candace, her husband, Nate, and their two kids- Garrett and Carlie came and stayed with us for a week. They live in Texas now and we keep trying to convince them to move back here but I don't know-it may be a useless cause! They are trying to do the same for us and it may not be as much of a useless cause since TC is in love with Austin, Texas but we are pretty settled here in Utah. Anyway, Candace and I still talk on the phone reguarly and see each other as often as we can so we have been able to maintain our friendship over the years (we met our Freshman year of college). We had a great time on their visit and are so glad they could come. It was so fun to meet their cute daughter, Carlie, for the first time as well! Some of the highlights of the trip included: pedicures for Candace and I, long talks, playing Mad Gab (sorry playing the game,Power Grid, was not a highlight for me but it probably was for Nate, Candace, and TC), going to the zoo and The Pie afterwards (so yummy), going to Thanksgiving Point, and driving down to Provo while the kids screamed the whole way in the car-just kidding, though that is a funny memory now. TC had to work while they were here so he missed out on some of the fun but he still hung out with us as much as he could. Anyway, enjoy the pictures!

Random picture to have under this post but while Nate and Candace were still here, some of our good friends, Devin, Naomi and their son, Spencer were in town visting. They moved from Utah in May. So we had a little get to together at our house while they were here. It was so great to see them and we miss having them here but they will be back the end of next summer. Anyway, pictured from the left is us, then Aubrey, Tim, and their adorable daughter, Maya and Naomi, Devin and their handsome son, Spencer.
